EA Shutting Down Old Sports Servers

2010 may have just started, but the online party will be ending soon for a number of last gen and current generation EA Sports titles. According to an Online Service Update on EA.Com, twenty-five sports titles will find their online service shut down by EA on or before February 2. The update stated, "You may continue to play the games online up until these dates, but certain community programs may begin to close down prior to the shutdown dates."

It seems that some will have to buy the current versions if they want to continue to play.
