Beefjack: Can Steam Save PC Gaming?
Beefjack Writes: Growing up, I never had a high spec PC. Sure, my rigs got the job done, but they never really blew me away with what they could do. I kept drooling over videos and screenshots thinking, "Once I get that gaming computer I’m going to love these games." The PC had it all. The best strategy games, shooters and even the early action/western RPGs were clearly made for computers first. I refused to believe anybody who claimed that PC gaming was dying. Last May, I constructed my first custom built gaming machine. It was then that I faced reality. Computers were losing badly as a medium for video games.
