Modern Warfare 2: Hype and Glory
I can’t quite understand where this mass hysteria for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 comes from. Essentially what we have is a game with a poor campaign with seething right-wing undercurrents – some wonderful choice quotes bookending you life from those keepers of peace Cheney and Rumsfeld (You half expect a quote from Hitler or Colonel Gaddafi) – and an online mode that blows everything else out of the water all under a increasingly dated gameplay mechanic and graphics that, although many have lauded it, are just above functional in this age of HD.
