1UP writes: "Blue Dragon was a promising next gen RPG, back when it was less annoying to still be saying "next-gen" in 2007. The game was mostly passable, but the dismal Blue Dragon Plus was notable merely as a canonical story sequel — not so much for its limited real-time strategy play. Developer Mistwalker seems unfazed, though, and still has its hands in Blue Dragon. The latest installment is Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow, coming soon to America from D3 Publisher, but already out in Japan from Namco, and it’s that import version that this preview is based on."
