IGN: Arkanoid Plus Review
Though it’s not a revolutionary upgrade to the long-running series, Arkanoid Plus! offers an accessible, energetic and pretty addictive new installment for the racquetball-inspired franchise that is well worth its asking price of just six bucks. With a non-linear single-player campaign, lots of customizing options, several difficulty settings, time attack modes and two-player head-to-head included, too, it feels like you’re definitely getting your money’s worth here. Top it all off with some of the best techno-inspired background tunes Taito’s ever composed and you’ve got a game that should have you following that old bouncing ball for a long time to come.
