Gamestyle writes: "EA’s NHL series is a rare thing indeed. The game itself transcends the sport it is based on. Most gamers have a memory of playing the original titles in the 16bit era. NHL 94 was a wonderful piece of pick up and play fun, plenty of arcade goodness. Something happened though and when we hit the Playstation era the love for the series disappeared. EA Sports though over the last couple of years have had somewhat of a renaissance, so what of NHL?"
