IGN: Drill Sergeant Mindstrong Review
Putting a different thematic spin on the brain-training genre is a good idea, and one that could probably work well — it just doesn’t work all that well here. Drill Sergeant Mindstrong seems to get too distracted by its own theme, and a lot of its mini-games and presentation end up focusing much more on reminding you that you’re in a simulated boot camp than actually building up your brain. Then, what’s worse, some flawed motion control meant to help with the simulation of activities like marching in step with fellow soldiers ends up distracting you even more.
