NintendoLife: Pokemon Explorers of Sky Impressions

There wasn’t much need for Nintendo to release a duo of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games last year, as one game would’ve been more than enough to cater to fans of the series. Both games were essentially carbon copies of each other, except that there were a couple of minor exclusive features to both, but even that wasn’t enough to justify a purchase for both versions.

Like Nintendo has done in past, whenever they see an area in the Pokémon universe where they capitalize on, they start releasing enhanced remakes of past games. While the second lot of Mystery Dungeon titles did very little to expand on the series, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky does even less. In fact, the game is just another version of the games that were released last year, not a new instalment or an enhanced remake.
