IGN: Family Pirate Party Review

There is no interaction with the design, and beyond that it really is nothing more than the random, repetitive rolling of dice and watching your character move haphazardly around a map in the blind hope that you’ll somehow outscore your opponents by the end of it all. Mario Party wouldn’t work without its mini-games. And since Family Pirate Party is, essentially, Mario Party without its mini-games, it doesn’t work.
