"I think the real conversation is whether or not it’s the best baseball game of all time. In my opinion, it is the greatest video game simulation of America’s past time ever. If you’ve played it, I’m curious to hear what you think about its relative greatness. In my book, High Heat 2002 was the previous high point with SNK Baseball Stars and The first RBI game bringing up the rear. But it’s obvious that MLB 09 The Show has surpassed them all."

Pros:

* Standing in as a hitter feels incredibly pure

* The Road to the Show mode is awesome

Cons:

* Fielding is a little wonky in the Road to the Show mode
