Killzone 2 is quite possibly the most hyped game ever released for the Playstation 3. Four years ago, Sony wowed E3 with Killzone 2 footage that looked too good to be true. At the time, it was. Developer Guerilla Games later confirmed the "trailer" was a target render of what they hoped to accomplish on the Playstation 3.

That the final product realizes the promise of that early footage is a testament to the power of the PS3. That it improves upon said footage is a victory for Guerrilla and Sony. That its gameplay rivals its design is great news for PS3 owners.
