BJ writes: "The basics of the game hasn’t changed that much. You still farm, interact with villagers, and battle monsters in dungeons. The real change is that the game is presented in two parts. Some of the Rune Factory gameplay doesn’t show up until the second half of the game. As well, only a few early areas in the dungeons can be accessed in the first half. Cooking, Pharmacy, and Forging are also reserved for the second half. Only when you’ve reached the second half of the game do you get to fully explore the dungeons, fight bosses, and unravel the plot."
