Honkai: Star Rail has been generous with giving away free characters in every update, which many fans have commended HoYoverse for.

Once Version 2.3 rolls out, players will be able to claim a free Harmony Trailblazer, as long as they've finished the Trailblazer Mission "Jarilo-VI – The Return.".

The Version 2.3 events, Honkai: Star Rail will also give fans a chance to get free 4-star characters, Xueyi in Apocalyptic Shadow; Gallagher, Hanya, Luka, and Arlan will be available in Origami Bird Clash.
