Infinite Bits Review: SBCG4AP – Episode 5: 8-Bit is Enough

8-Bit is Enough, the fifth and final episode of Strong Bad’s Cool Games for Attractive People is, on face, a fan service. This game reaches to bring in as many of the peripheral characters and extras from the Homestar Runner universe as can be reasonably included, and I’m happy to report that this is a success. The developers were able to include cameos from Homestar Runner past without it feeling forced, in fact they fit so seamlessly into the plot that a Homestar rookie could play this episode and enjoy the numerous allusions to the old 1980’s videogame standbys without feeling like they were left out of the joke.
