1UP: Evasive Space Preview

Evasive Space, High Voltage and Yuke’s new WiiWare title, looks like a ton of other downloadable space shooters, but it’s far from another Geometry Wars clone. For starters, you don’t even shoot things — rather, it’s a game of evasion and speed. As Konki, an intergalactic guardian in a compact rocket ship, you roam the planets to collect Constellation Stones stolen by the nefarious Dr. Dark Matter. In most of the planetary levels, you have to navigate a maze and get to the goal, usually either under a set amount of time or by meeting other conditions.
