PALGN: Brothers In Arms: Double Time Review

PALGN writes: "Arriving just over a year after it was promised Brothers in Arms: Double Time has finally been released on the Wii. The game is a two pack compilation which includes ports of Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 and Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood. Brothers In Arms: Double Time could have been a game that contained two great ports of two solid World War II games, but with no care put into the port this is clearly just an exercise in trying to gauge money out of the unsuspecting Wii owner.

Rather than delve deep into the history of these two titles which we have reviewed before we’ll just recap the basics as the reviews for Road to Hill 30 and Earned in Blood can be found elsewhere on the site. For the unaware, The Brothers in Arms titles are a little bit different to your typical World War II shooter, the games are all about squad management. In the titles you can pull up a menu and order your team mates, you may order them to fire, to move or to stop firing. The squad management system is seamless and works well, but relies on AI, which completely under delivers on the Wii."
