Sony gets patent for Vsync technology approved

Gamers that are super into the technical side of things will know about a feature called Vertical Sync (or Vsync for short) that lets you synchronise a game's frame-rate with the refresh rate of the screen for improved stability and less screen tearing, and a new rumour seems to suggest that this PC-centric feature might appear in the next PlayStation.
