Resistance 2 Beta Impressions

With all the hype and focus on Gears of War 2 right now many will overlook another game that will hit store shelves the same week as Gears. Resistance 2 is the followup to the very solid 2006 PS3 launch game Resistance: Fall of Man. The original game was loved by Sony fans and for a launch title was very solid from a full fledged campaign to dedicated servers and a party system for online play. Insomniac really outdid themselves for a launch title and when compared to the big FPS launch game for the 360 Perfect Dark Zero it really stood out. Here we are 2 years later and the second game in the series is about to drop. With beta key in hand, lets dig into the fun.
