IGN: Dinosaur King Review

Dinosaur King does a few things very well. As an actual RPG though, it falls short. NPC characters in towns walk in place rather than actually patrolling streets, by extension the game has a very lifeless overworld, the graphics while out of battle need word, the interface is extremely basic, and the writing isn’t there at all. The fan service (both of the show, and of dinosaurs in general; who doesn’t love them?) is there, so for some that’ll be enough. For others, pay no mind, but be sure to shove it in the hand of any game store youngling you see about to pick up a mess of a kids title. This one will have a lot more for him to waste his time on than most of the other TV show-turned-game offerings out there.
