Downsizing (2017)

Throughout his earlier directorial career, Alexander Payne made some thoughtful, amusing films with niche subject focus. <i>Downsizing</i> is his most ambitious, at least on paper, film yet – a sci-fi drama about people ‘getting little’, the most considerable – so Matt Damon’s character in this near-future world thinks – scientific advancement since landing on Mars.
