"Absolver is a truly mesmerising game in so many ways that it’s difficult to know where to start. It’s a title that seems simple until you realize it’s not – not at all – and it’s only when you begin to peel away layer after layer that the true beast within reveals itself to you. I spent my first couple of days plugging away at the game until, about nine or ten hours in, I hit a point where the Absolver I thought I knew was flipped on its head and became something altogether alien. Ultimately, Absolver is a journey of discovery – not only of its lush, overgrown world, but of the very nature of the game itself. It’s quite unlike anything I’ve played before, and I’ve quickly become absolutely obsessed with it."
