Doomfist is the Hero We Deserve

Overwatch fans rejoiced when the hard-hitting one-man-army, Doomfist, made his first appearance on the Overwatch PTR in early July. Players were eager to punch each other into as many walls as possible, and try their hand at swatting Pharah from the skies like a Goliath Bird-Eating Spider (I don’t think that’s how they actually hunt their prey, but that’s how it plays out in my nightmares). But in the time since his introduction — and particularly since becoming available in Competitive Play — Doomfist has become something of a controversial pick.
