Minecraft: Sony has refused crossplay on its console

The CEO of Sony, Kaz Hirai, seems to have confirmed that Minecraft on PS4 will not have cross-play function, according to the statement he made on his official Twitter profile "Minecraft on PS4 is an exclusive gated community. We don’t let any riffraff in from the other consoles."
