System Shock Returns Thanks to SHODAN
The genre defining classic, System Shock, is returning after 22 years. The antagonist AI from the game, SHODAN, is bring credited with this achievement by taking over the life of a young boy in 1994. Now the game is getting a remaster from a team of AAA veterans including the original System Shock concept artist and the original voice of SHODAN. The game is on Kickstarter and has a big price tag attached, but has already gotten well over $500,000 in support.
