Scott Wrote – I can imagine the pitch for Battleborn, Gearbox’s newest title, at its earliest stage of conception. I imagine a half dozen well-dressed Producers and Executives sitting around a table drinking coffee as one of them suddenly looks up from the scrunched up paper on the table.

“People loved Borderlands, and that “SMITE” game seems to be doing quite well.”

“…And people love League of Legends. There’s those Call of Duty fans too, they seem pretty keen.”

“Titanfall did OK with half a game at launch, I mean we have to budget right? We aren’t made of money.”
