Silent Hills’ P.T. Demo Brought to Life in Short Film
Filmmakers Oddest of the Odd release a short film titled ‘Silent Hills P.T. in real life’ on YouTube, in tribute to Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro’s axed Silent Hills game.
Despite Konami pulling the plug on Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro’s Silent Hills collaboration nearly a year ago, fans everywhere are still not quite over game’s cancellation. It says a lot about the Silent Hills fanbase when intrepid fans figured out how to re-download the P.T. demo after Konami pulled it from the PlayStation Store – albeit unofficially using third-party software. But that fan effort pales in comparison to what a group of YouTube filmmakers came up with.
