Bourne 5 Will Be Called Jason Bourne
CB: The previously-untitled fifth film in the Jason Bourne franchise will be titled simply Jason Bourne, Universal Pictures revealed today at the end of the movie's Super Bowl 50 TV spot.
After four previous installments that used Bourne's last name — from The Bourne Identity to The Bourne Legacy — this minimalist approach is reminiscent of sequels like Rocky Balboa and Rambo, both of which eschewed numbers and subtitles late in their franchise.
