Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition (PC) Review | Cubed3
Darksiders II was not the blockbuster hit that many people – THQ included – expected it to be, and the primary reason is that something is just… off. As a result, its Deathinitive Edition had to work very hard to do better, but any chance for it succeeding was undermined by an inexcusable lack of stability in the final product. This isn't to say that it works for no one – clearly, it works for many. The players for whom it does not, however, are just out of luck, because it tends to cease functioning after the grace period for refunds. Should possible buyers risk blowing money on a non-functioning title in the hopes of playing something that is decidedly average? Certainly not, and if Nordic Games doesn't want to go the route of THQ, then it has to deliver better quality and customer support than this.
