Despite its sometimes mechanical approach, Concussion is anchored by Will Smith's star performance and the matter at hand. Dr. Omalu is a very relatable character, and we feel for him in his times of strife. The supporting cast also helps elevate the story, particularly Albert Brooks and Alec Baldwin. While Concussion never reaches the dramatic climax we think we're in for, the film stays consistently engaging throughout — though it probably won't stick with you long after you leave the theater.
