Microsoft’s Mobile Phone Share Shrinks in Half, Windows 10 Mobile to the Rescue?
Maximum PC: Demand in emerging markets helped boost smartphone sales to 353 million units in the third quarter of 2015, which represents a 15.5 percent growth rate from the same quarter a year ago, according to the latest data by market research firm Gartner. Unfortunately for Microsoft, a fairly significant rise in overall phone sales hasn't translated into a bump in market share for Windows-based handsets.
