Where’s our proper Back to the Future adventure game?

There are no excuses for the lack of a tentpole Back to the Future game. In fact, it's almost shocking. The closest we have is an episodic graphic adventure available from 2011. It's plainly not a tentpole blockbuster, and it doesn't capture the series' tone in the way a major console game could.

There should have been one by now. Somebody should have started making it a few years ago with aims on getting it out by today for some free advertising. It was money on the table and it didn't happen.
