“Respite” is a forgettable distraction that’s primary intent is to stretch out the narrative in these final few episodes of the season. Tom being stuck with a family that wanted nothing to do with the war offered little substance. Maggie's need to get Ben out of her brain was fine but ill timed. Marty, you're the real hero.
