PSA: Never Swap Your PS4 HDD Unless it’s Permanent

One of the best features of the PlayStation 4 is the ability to upgrade the hard disk drive (HDD) with any compatible size of HDD, without voiding your warranty. So it’s no wonder that people have probably already swapped out their HDDs with a bigger one the moment the PlayStation 4 was in there hands. However, if you’ve downloaded loads of games on the stock HDD, and then downloaded different games on the new HDD, don’t think that you will be able to swap the hard drives back and play the other games.
