Harold Review | Gamer’s Temple

Harold casts you in the role of a guardian angel in training at a heavenly academy. While you might think that you're in store for lessons on protecting people from harm, that's not at all the case here. Rather these guardian angels are competing with each other to help their charge in a motley crew of runners finish first in each of a series of races, and these angels are not above a little cheating to hinder the competition. It's all kind of an odd setup and storyline all things considered and perhaps a storyline featuring mischievous demons entertaining themselves at the expense of a few unfortunate people would have been more apropos, but the hand-drawn artwork used for the cutscenes and the voice work are well-done and charming so it's best to kind of just go with it and not worry too much about the details of the story.
