RBS And NatWest Enable TouchID Security For Mobile Banking Apps
From tomorrow, 19th February, RBS and NatWest customers will be the first of any UK-based bank to be able to log in to their mobile banking app using only their finger print.
Touch ID enabled on the iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus (and the latest iPads) is the secure way of unlocking the device and authorising purchases from the App Store.
The RBS and NatWest mobile banking app will be the first UK mobile banking App to integrate the fingerprint recognition based authorisation into their App, and one of the early Touch-id adopters across all Apps in general.
