Wii U backwards compatibility gets overhauled
The Wii U has never really had excellent backwards compatibility. While it does allow you to play the previous generation of games, unlike some other consoles, it requires you to boot into a “Wii compatibility mode” before you are able to do so. This is about to change, according to the latest information to come out of this morning’s Nintendo Direct.
