AVG Technologies Approached by Potential Buyers

AVG Technologies NV has been approached by potential buyers amid a wave of deals for security-software makers, according to people familiar with the matter. The early-stage exploration of a takeover mainly involves private-equity firms, but at least one other technology company is also in the mix, one of the people said.
