A young female soldier Cole is stationed as an MP at Guantanamo Bay detention center. As a female soldier she faces outright rejection and insult by the men she is guarding. Advised to keep her distance from the detainees, she instead develops a fight-then-make-up interaction pattern with one of them, Ali, or as she should refer him as detainee 471.
