Battle Screen's Gregory Edwards reviews Ground Zeroes, stating "All of these elements combine to create something that, while admittedly rather short on a single playthrough, is crafted with such care that it’s impossible not to appreciate how much of a marvel the whole thing is. It’s just a pity that the game is, for everything it does, such a tough sell due to that pricing. That said, GZ performs its job wonderfully, and I don’t think I could be any more excited to see where Phantom Pain takes this series."
