GTA Online: Has Rockstar Lost Control?

The developer of GTA V is seemingly losing control of its own game as players continue to exploit and mod their open world experience. Since Rockstar launched GTA Online on October 1st, the game has seen a multitude of issues from a lack of servers to huge money making glitches. When Rockstar opened their game world to the masses, it would appear they were unprepared for what might ensue and continue to play catch up with in-game criminals.
