Game Peview – Insurgency 2 – Blackman ‘N Robin

Insurgency was a title that I contemplated on whether or not it was worth playing, as the idea and the trailer for the game looked superb- the way you were digging through the trenches on your hands and knees and avoiding sniper fire and even machine gun bullets looked truly realistic. Sure, Battlefield 3 embraced the same idea in almost all ways, but the difference is, Insurgency truly brings out the realism in a shooter- hiding is necessary, jumping will not save you, spraying and praying is nearly impossible as enemies who see you first will try getting a headshot off the bat and body shots will kill you as bullets cause far more damage. In many ways, it demonstrates what a first person shooter should be in terms of realism, but at the same time, the title’s downfall is due to it’s overall bugs and glitches.
