Review: Flashback | Metro Gaming
Remakes are the new black. A bold statement, but you’d be forgiven for thinking its true. Everyone seems to be at it, with every release schedule update playing host to yet another name from yesterday being remade, reborn or rebooted. Unlike the Hollywood efforts in the same regard videogame remakes are often very similar to their predecessor, often mimicking them entirely and simply adding a new spit polish to the visual quality. Flashback does fall into this trap, but given that the quality of the videogame was so high to begin with it’s hard not to forgive it for doing so.
