New Game Network: "The runaway success of Resident Evil 4 helped to spark a trend in the AAA horror genre – let’s call it “The Great Actionification” – of stripping away disempowering “survival” features and replacing them with powerful weapons, quick-time events, and cover-based shooting. Now, Resident Evil series progenitor Shinji Mikami is seeking to buck that trend by returning to his roots, with a new survival horror entry called The Evil Within. We sat in on a demonstration for the game at Bethesda’s E3 booth to see how it’s shaping up."
