That’s No Game: The Trouble With Terminology

Even though it may be blasphemy to say so, the term “game” may not fully cover what we define as games today. A name change might be in order, fueled by a necessity to include newer forms of digital entertainment and art. The conotations derived from the term “game” give are not mature ones, implying more childish expectations from the medium.
