Revive or Die: Shenmue

In the latest episode of Revive or Die, we take a look at the Dreamcast cult classic Shenmue. Should it be brought back to life or be kept as an untold story?

I've rewritten the start of this Revive or Die article numerous times. Each draft started at a different point in the Shenmue saga, from the hometown feeling of Yamanose, the Game You Arcade in Dobuita right through to the gritty and addiction fuelled streets of Kowloon. To say that I'd be able to write an opening statement to even match the diversity, influence and beauty that Shenmue and Shenmue II have had on me would be the biggest dis-service I could give to such an ambitious title.
