Oberon/I-play experiencing more redundancies
Oberon/I-play is apparently experiencing more redundancies, less than six months after the previous round. I-play, which was acquired by Oberon last June, made a number of redundancies in October as a result of the company’s effort to streamline the business and stem rising development costs.
I-play’s CEO, David Gosen, left the company in January during the restructuring. Sources have now indicated to GamesIndustry.biz that the latest redundancies have resulted in the closure of I-play’s last development team in Dunfermline, Scotland – I-play’s former headquarters.
