Genetically Engineered Stem Cells A Potential Cure For AIDS

ETECHMAG: Scientists at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research believe that their genetically engineered stem cells are going to be a ‘potential cure for AIDS’. Their treatment prevents the onset of AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome) caused by HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) infection. This is a cure for AIDS, not for the HIV infection itself.
