Editorial: Seven ways Nintendo can stay relevant next generation

With the Wii U just over a month away from its official launch, it’s a little alarming to see that there has been little talk from Nintendo regarding the console’s online functionality. The big N has never been known for providing a user-friendly online experience – if you can even call it one – but in order for the Wii U to survive the onslaught of the next generation, the company will have to make huge strides to ensure that they are way ahead of the curve in terms of the consoles online functionality. In order to prepare for the inevitable announcement of these features, and to make ourselves feel a little better, a list has been compiled of the key things Nintendo will need to do in order to get their online service up to snuff.
