James Cottee of Gameplayer.au writes: Afraid you could lose your eyesight? That, like Itachi Uchiha, you could slip away into a world of darkness? Then boot up Sight Training. Just like in Brain Training, the reasoning is that a few minutes of effort a day is all it takes to bring out the best in your optics. Just like in Brain Training, the exercises are based on actual, proper science.

And just like in Brain Training, it works. Sort of.

As with the other programs in this series, the presentation is formal, authoritative, and reassuring. The buttons and menus are large, simple, and pleasingly colour-coded. There’s no ‘trick’ to the controls; while your memory and reaction time are being tested, this is secondary to running your vitreous humours through five different aptitude wringers.

Graphics: Simple, light-hearted, elegant, retro.

Sounds: Upbeat, vaguely 80s electro, nursery rhyme blooping.

Control: Extremely straightforward.

Gameplay: Frustrating in direct proportion to your spasmitude.

Verdict: A curiosity, but quite well done.
