Premium Rush cheats right from the start. It opens with one of my favorite songs. I am in, it got me, but the crazy thing is that it kept me. The movie runs with such kinetic force and rarely lets up. Coupled with the lean run-time, it is able to keep that energy from beginning to end barring a few hiccups. Our protagonist is Wilee (Joseph Gordon-Levitt). It is pronounced like Wile E. Wilee is a bike messenger in New York City who lives for the ride, cheating death for crap pay. His bike has one gear and no brakes. He is a beautiful mind behind those handles as he can see all the possibilities each intersection will bring and react accordingly.
